Description

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide consisting of 15 amino acids. It is derived from a protective protein found naturally in the human gastric juice. Because of its origin, it is uniquely stable compared to other peptides and has been the subject of extensive research regarding the “gut-brain axis” and systemic tissue repair.

Its primary mechanism of action in research models appears to be the upregulation of VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor).
