AOD-9604 (Anti-Obesity Drug-9604) is a modified synthetic peptide fragment of the C-terminus of Human Growth Hormone (hGH). Specifically, it consists of the hGH amino acid sequence 177-191, with an added Tyrosine amino acid at the N-terminus.

This specific structural modification (Tyrosine addition) was engineered to solve the primary issue with generic HGH fragments: stability. By stabilizing the molecule, AOD-9604 is more resistant to enzymatic degradation than standard Frag 176-191.
