Sermorelin

Description

Sermorelin (GRF 1-29) is a synthetic analogue of the naturally occurring Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). It consists of the first 29 amino acids of the endogenous 44-amino acid GHRH peptide.

In the research community, Sermorelin is regarded as the “safety standard” for growth hormone optimization. Unlike synthetic secretagogues (GHRPs) that force a release regardless of the body’s state, Sermorelin works by binding to the GHRH receptor on the pituitary gland to simulate natural signaling. Crucially, it preserves the negative feedback loop involving somatostatin, making it nearly impossible to overdose or cause “pituitary burnout” in research subjects.
